Questions

Servicing FAQs

How often should a luxury watch be serviced?
Most modern mechanical watches — Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet and Cartier — should be fully serviced every 5 to 7 years, or sooner if the watch is running fast, slow, or has been exposed to water.
How long does a full service take?
A standard full service takes 3 to 5 weeks. Repairs requiring parts sourcing or dial restoration can take longer; we confirm the timeline in your written quote before starting.
Will polishing damage my watch?
Not when it is done correctly. We refinish to the original case geometry, preserving sharp bevels and brushed surfaces. On collectable vintage references we usually recommend leaving the case untouched.
Do you service watches you did not sell?
Yes. We service Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Cartier and other luxury brands regardless of where the watch was purchased.
Is the work guaranteed?
Every service and repair carries a 12-month warranty covering both mechanical and aesthetic work.
Can I send my watch by post?
Yes. We provide fully insured, tracked postal packaging for UK customers so you do not have to travel to Windsor.
